Aristotle Onassis, Marie Callas’ longtime partner, later married former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy
Tale
Maria Callas, the world’s greatest opera singer, spends the last days of her life in Paris in her 70s, coming to terms with her identity and life. Kennedy was the subject of a previous Pablo Larrain biopic, 2016’s “Jackie,” starring Natalie Portman.
I feel like admiring
Maria Kallas: Book me a table in a cafe where the waiters know who I am. Quoted in close-up: Why do we need the Venice Film Festival?
She was TWO, but she could do it
(2024). This movie made me wish I was born when calli was born.
Impeccable cinematography, editing and costume design
And she and Angelina have something in common: both can only perform when they’re unhappy. As if art was born out of sadness, madness or guilt.
It’s sad when people complain, but I just think they didn’t capture the art that was in the movie
To me the interesting way they told the story is just poetry, it’s like listening to his perfect aria in a beautiful garden. Angelina is not my favorite actress, but she is a great choice for Maria and the makeup is perfect.
