I had the chance to see this movie at a preview, and I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for it because it was really mediocre. The vulgarity is omnipresent, which wouldn’t be a problem if there was at least some subtlety, but no, it’s just vulgarity for vulgarity’s sake, probably aimed at pleasing a certain type of audience.
In short, there’s not much to say about this French comedy
Sure, Michèle Laroque and Gérard Darmon are experienced actors with nothing left to prove, but what were they doing in this disaster? The pleasant surprise, however, is the lead actor, who I had never met before, but he delivers a solid performance and adds some value to the film.
