Art the Clown prepares to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone said that several major studios were interested in financing the film based on the unexpected success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a full script, but that he turned them all down because he was sure they would never let him do the opening scene alone, which “very controversial”. Leone commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his portrayal of horror and gore is because he finances his films independently, creates all the special effects himself to keep costs down, and doesn’t have a major studio breathing down his neck that a film is more mainstream.. Mia mentions that the 5 year anniversary of the original massacre is coming up, but it happened on Halloween and this movie taking place 5 years later at Christmas would mean that the anniversary was just 2 months ago.. Julia’s Sister: Julia, I thought I said stay away from my -[Art kills him with an ax].

So when my girlfriend asked me to watch the first two Terrifers to prepare for this, I wasn’t too excited. Turns out I love them all. But this Terrificer 3 is special.

I’m serious when I say that I haven’t laughed so much in a theater in a long time. Leave the deviant ridiculousness of the clown to art to make you smile! It’s so over the top, it’s so badass that the kills get creative and intentionally hilarious that I can’t contain myself anymore. He’s a really special villain because he’s as scary as he is funny. And Damien Leone struck gold with his clown art.

So much fun!

He is the slasher hero of 2020, no questions asked. And this franchise is going to be one of the greatest franchises in horror. If you’re a horror fan, you should definitely check them all out. Each has its own identity. The 3rd is my favorite, although the second one might have the best and most classic scenes.
